Kate’s Qualifications
Kaitryn (“Kate”) Wertz draws upon over twenty-five years of experience helping
people to make positive life changes. Kate’s work is characterized by intuition,
compassion, optimism and collaboration. She is comfortable with such issues as depression,
anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic stress and trauma-related difficulties, and life difficulties
associated with relationships, family, career, creative blockages, spirituality and grief and loss.
Although Kate specializes in Jungian Analysis, her background includes training in Relational,
Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused and Family Systems methods.
In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Kate serves as Co-Director of the Growing Minds
Autism Program, where she counsels parents of children with autism spectrum disorders for issues
related to their children’s’ difficulties.
Kate is an experienced lecturer, group facilitator and consultant and has given seminars on
topics such as stress management, self-empowerment, relationships, personal growth and parenting
children with special needs throughout North America and Europe. Her background includes extensive
study and practice of both Eastern and Western approaches to self-development and personal growth.
